Harris Teeter opened in January, following the debut retailers-LA Fitness and Starbucks. These tenants will be joining Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Coastal Flats, Verizon Wireless and others at Downtown Crown, which includes 259,000 square feet of retail. The new retailers are ZAGG, a mobile device accessory company Body by Blo, a hair-styling salon with skincare and nail services a pizza restaurant called &pizza dry cleaner Crown Cleaners and Wells Fargo. With these five leases, Downtown Crown is approximately 66 percent signed. Stores and restaurants will continue to open through the spring and summer. Crown is a walkable, urban-inspired community taking shape on 182 acres in Gaithersburg.
Crown Estate Scotland recently put a number of property management contracts out for a retender with a full public procurement exercise, receiving tenders in early September.
